Getting to know ME
THE PROCESS
We aim is to achieve the most out of your space, using the resources at hand. If we outsource, it is with the planet, your locality and wildlife in mind. The end result - a sustainable spaces with the ambience to suit you and your family.
We work with the best landscaping teams in each location, craftspeople with expertise to suit your site & design. You’re in good hands.
Consult
The first meeting and the beginning of our journey. Let’s chat and allow us to find out what you need, want to achieve and dream of. We’ll explore some initial ideas, discuss your budget, timeframes and we’ll explain costs. Then we use all this input to develop ideas into the concepts.
Site Survey
We will observe or survey the site depending on size and scope. For larger plots, with varied terrain we will call in a third party surveyor. For smaller sites, border-only or if you provide a pre-commissioned professional document, we will just cover light, layout, sun-direction and so on.
Concepts - the design options
We will give you 2/3 outline idea options, mood boards, planting ideas based on our discussions, your needs, our survey findings. We will detail the journey of your garden and how we intend to achieve your ultimate design. This will trigger further conversation and help us to fine tune to your style and preferences.
Detailed costings stage
The detail we cover and costs associated looks at planning permissions and process if required, procurement considerations in respect to labour, landscaping detailing full price-structures with contingencies in place. It will highlight work arounds in case of incumbent services, footings, foundations or wildlife considerations pertinent to your locale. Taking wildlife and your life into consideration.
Masterplan
We’re all part of the masterplan. We can produce full construction drawings to give your own contractor, or we can proceed with our partners liaising to completion to see the idea come to life - this includes planting plans, colour boards, fittings and fixture lists. It's entirely up to you as to which route you take - design-only or design and build. Once finalised the sourcing and purchasing proceeds.
On the tools
Here we start the process with the chosen contractor in place. We regularly inspect the site and lead the team to process. We take the project to completion and bring your project to life.
Happy ever aftercare
We suggest a period of after-care. And you can choose how we manage that if you need us to, or we can recommend some local garden maintenance teams. We can suggest a schedule and we can just pop back after 6/12 months and see how you are going.
